ABOUT JOYCE WANG STUDIO
Joyce Wang is an award-winning interior designer and the founder of Joyce Wang Studio, based in London and Hong Kong, which specialises in luxury hospitality, wellness and residential interior design with a global portfolio of projects across the globe, from London, New York and Melbourne to Tokyo, Bangkok and Hong Kong.
Wang’s architectural approach to design and love of materials is rooted in her degrees in Architecture and Materials Science at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology. Later, she received her Masters at the Royal College of Art in London where interdisciplinary collaborations were to influence her work to come. Her many prestigious industry awards include Hospitality Design magazine’s coveted Designer of the Year Award 2020, Design Anthology’s inaugural Vanguard award in 2019 and Joyce Wang Studio was included in the top 400 in Dezeen’s Designer Hot List. Wang has spoken at international design platforms such as Maison & Objet, Business of Design Week and the World Interior Festival.
Notable projects include the Hollywood Roosevelt Hotel (Los Angeles), The Landmark Mandarin Oriental (Hong Kong), Mott 32 (Hong Kong, Singapore, Las Vegas and Vancouver), The Arts Club (London), K11 Artus (Hong Kong), an immersive exhibition for Louis Vuitton Objets Nomades at Art Basel Hong Kong, a spa and fitness space in Equinox’s centenary club in Hudson Yards, New York, and a large-scale renovation of The Mandarin Oriental Hyde Park, London.www.joycewang.com | @joycewangstudio
