The man behind Bharath Engineering Innovation Design & Consultancy Pvt. Ltd. (www.eidcoman.com), Ar. Prasanth Balakrishnan Exe. director of the Firm is a design enthusiast who completed his degree in 2006 and worked in India and abroad for 16 years.
After returning to his homeland, joined as the Architecture and Design Director of the Indian operations of our International firm EIDC, Muscat Oman, along with Managing Director – Dr Raveendranath P.K and other Directors – Radhesh Prabhakar & Premkumar. The team provided a broad spectrum of consultancy services ranging from Architecture, structure, M.E.P, Interiors and Landscape design. They are staffed by people who are by nature, innovative thinkers with a company culture rooted in growth and learning. The company attracts top performers who continuously aim for the next level. Their passion and high professional and ethical standards allow them to easily and consistently deliver higher value.
The company’s major clientele include the government and semi government agencies like: CPWD, Kerala PWD, Maharashtra PWD, KSIDC, KSCC, Odisha Tourism & Private companies like LULU GROUP INTERNATIONAL, L&T Construction, Smartcity – Kochi, ULCCS m,
Puravankara OSCO, IMA Calicut & IMA Thalassery. It all started in November 2011 and currently the business is running successfully. The business impacts the society by creating a better environment to live in. The team specializes in Mixed Use developments, Hotels, Resorts, Shopping malls, Apartment towers etc.
Bharath EIDC is one among the few integrated design consultants with all the disciplines of Design (Architecture, Structure, M.E.P, Interiors and Landscape design) under one roof. The company’s goal is to become a Major International player in the arena of Architecture and Design. What encouraged the start of this business was the lack of integrated design solutions that is available under one roof, was the opportunity that the founders explored in the Indian Design arena, which led them to start the Business in India also.
The initial struggles as an entrepreneur were to fit into the Indian scenario without compromising International Design standards and yet to deliver quality design and documentation was the greatest challenge that they have faced. Their innovative design approach juxtaposed with the state of art technology and use of integrated design softwares like BIM & Navisworks makes them unique as an entrepreneur continuously striving to achieve a design initially to their own satisfaction and then upgrading it to suit the client requirements, budget and finally their dreams is what the team practices without fail in each and every project.
Every project is in one way or the other close to the business’s hearts. The team also believes that as responsible social artists, they should impart a sustainable design approach in all their design projects and while it isn’t a part of the trend, it is an incredibly necessary requirement to reduce the carbon footprint in the environment.
The team practices sustainability right from planning and design stage and also during construction by using sustainable and green materials in the structure as well as the finishes. Also, green energy, solar power and water recycling are a major design criterion in all their projects.
According to the owners, understanding the client requirement and psychology is very important right from the beginning of design since the business ultimately designs for the client. To do so, the team tries to understand the client’s background and their way of living to come up with the best results.
