Dr. Kaup Mohamed – Dean and Managing Director, London American City College – UAE

Prof. Dr. Kaup, who holds 25 years of wholesome experience in teaching, training & research, is currently the Dean & Managing Director at the ‘London American City College / WKMDC / ICBEST’ in the UAE and the Adjunct Professor of the ‘Madonna University’, Michigan State, USA. The multi-doctorate holder from India, Europe and the United States of America, Dr. Kaup also carries Doctorates from UGC Approved Indian Universities, MBA and Doctorate in Business Administration from Apollo’s University, USA and other Honorary Doctorates from Europe and other US universities. His extensive contribution to academics can be witnessed from his versatile designations such as Ph.D. Research Guide for 2 UGC approved Indian universities, the external examiner of Ph.D. program including ‘MIM Institute of Management and Maharishi Markandeshwar University’, Ambala, India, along with several other institutions in the world.

Dr. Kaup, who has guided more than 300 research projects students in the Master’s level program, has also guided more than 500 internship research students in their undergraduate and postgraduate programs of study.

Fruitfully spending his whole life in academics, education, training and research, he has eventually bagged several laurels in the field of management research and development, project research and development. An excellent academician with immense research oriented knowledge, Dr. Kaup has also conferred with the ‘World Leader and Excellence in Business Leadership Award’ by the ‘World Confederation of Businesses, USA’. He has proudly received ‘Bizz Award 2013’ on behalf of ‘London American City college’ at the ‘World Confederation of Businesses, USA’. As the General Secretary of a cultural organization – ‘Bearys Cultural Forum Mangalore’ from the last 15 years, Dr. Kaup has been involved in the noble cause of granting educational scholarships to academically sound but poor students, assisting in imparting medical aid to the poor people and arranging counseling for the poor students to assist them in taking up brilliant education careers. Currently, Dr. Kaup is the Vice President of ‘Karnataka NRI Forum’ which is constituted under the aegis of NRI Cell, Government of Karnataka.

Perfectly blended with dedication in academics and exceptional flavors of teaching, Dr. Kaup got instigated to be part and parcel of the academic community. His desire of serving the student community in numerous universities & colleges around the world and his passion for teaching & research eventually bestowed him with a pathway to enter into academics. Carrying a firm faith in God and adoring hard work, dedication and commitment; Dr. Kaup has always maintained in all the junctures of his profession and personal life. His never dying desire of being of some use to the society and the nation, his parents support, his wife’s enthusiasm; made him mark an incredible place for himself in Academics.

“Road to life is never smooth”, and Dr. Kaup is no exception but he always tells his students that we will never find a day that will go smoothly, so we need to face and accept the challenge of solving the problems and managing chores. Dr. Kaup has also faced financial troubles with much family responsibilities but considers himself fortunate for overcoming all of them at a point of time. Incepting his institution had been the biggest challenge for him that involved lots of risks incorporating social, economic and legal formalities; but his exceptional focus on the work made him to prosper and achieve his goals skillfully. The talented professor having taught 1000s of students in the region, began to serve the community by incepting his own institution. The incredible commitment, dedication and hard work Dr. Kaup bears, is stupendous; which makes him a unique person who has got the courage to do something different.
